There has been some minor discrepancy in the result of Paper II of TS8 for IITJEE 2009 held recently.

This discrepancy is only for Match the Column type questions for the students who took the test at the Test centers only. The change communicated at the Test centers in these questions was not completely incorporated while processing the OMR sheets.

We are correcting the result for these questions for the students who took the paper at the Test centers and the updated result would be available soon.

We deeply regret the inconvenience caused.

IITJEE is an exam that is totally based on problem solving. Whether it is physics or chemistry or mathematics, hardly any theoretical questions are asked. Mostly it is numerical based questions. Because of this nature of IITJEE, students preparing for IITJEE exam should spend most of their time in solving more and more problems……………….

To retain and repeat, I recommend a “Four Phases Approach (FPA)” to you for doing problem solving. This is little difficult to follow as it requires  you to be little systematic in your studies which most students found difficult to be. But once “Four Phases Approach” followed properly, it will definitely help you in many dimensions like improving your speed, accuracy, problem solving ability and confidence in the topic.

Please see the workshop schedule. Mathematics is final. But physics and chemistry is tentative. Once Physics and Chemistry are finalized, you will also get the printed copy of the schedule.

It is strong advised that you follow this schedule. Otherwise you won’t be able to do it. Following this schedule means every week you need to spend 20 hrs on workshop. 12 hours on doing the workshops of the week and remaining 8 hours in revising the already done workshops. It might not be possible to do them as tests in first go as questions are not simple. I am not sure about physics and chem but for mathematics, these workshops are not meant for practice but for learning tricks and idea of some more questions.

It is strongly advised that you follow “4 phases approach“.
